Let’s be honest a minute…
There isn’t anything worse for a commuter than having to wait for your train on a crowded platform with the board showing “CORRECTION” all the time, or not showing anything at all, actually…
And then when the train eventually enters the station after an endless 15 or 20-minute wait, realise that the carriage right in front of you is full of passengers and that you have absolutely no choice but somehow get into it, or take the risk to wait until the next train which, by the way, isn’t displayed on the board!
Grrrrrrr…
Well…
Maybe there is a solution to overcrowded trains and overcrowded platforms…
Now, THIS is a clever idea by Dan Taylor, who describes himself as a “London-based media geek”…
And I think TFL should really make an effort and get inspired!
